More and more people are turning to yoga because of the benefits they derive in all areas of their lives and in 2012, with the uncertainty of what is going to happen with regard to the financial situation, we all need to break away from the worry and concerns and become grounded in the present moment.

Reading the newspapers it’s not hard to see why people are so stressed and we can appreciate that there are many who are unable to cope with life right now.  People have been discussing how the personal disasters happening in major cities amongst groups of people are increasing.

Losing your job alone is one major disaster in a person’s life.  Added to that, disease in themselves or in their loved one can be a double burden.  What individual could foresee one disaster after another and no matter how strong they were initially, the stresses they felt have been enormous.  It is only when they have been fortunate enough to step outside these situations and look back, that they realise how very stressed they actually were.
